I’m
offering two types of Shawls. Ganga Wool Shawls on
this page and High Himalaya Pashmina Shawl on
the previous
page.
The first is a hand-loomed wool shawl from the foothills of the Himalaya in the watershed of the Ganges above Rishikesh. They are the product of an Indian Government cooperative of weavers that protects the welfare of the weavers and subsidizes the product for the benefit of the poor rural economy.

They a
natural color, 38 x 80 inches. (size may vary) The
wool doesn’t feel itchy next to my skin but doesn’t
have the soft luxury of the Pashmina Shawls. They
have a simple, natural texture like a hemp fabric,
only wool. They are great to meditate on if you
fold them up into a pad, or you can lay them out on
a table for healing work. Speaking for myself, I
love the energy of these shawls. They weigh a
little over a pound each.
I originally had these Ganges Wool shawls for sale on a sliding scale from $23 to $50 but some folks found that confusing so I reduced all the prices to the $23 plus $5 each shipping for the first three, free after that. There is sales tax for Californians only. Just donate on another page if you feel generous.
For folks who really want a shawl and can’t afford the minimum, contact me and we can try to work out a public service option to reduce your cost. To buy one or a few, click the button below.
I hope you love your shawl.
